An Agreement on cooperation in the field of prevention, limitation and mitigation of emergency situations consequences has been signed during the meeting of Ministers of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko and Romania
Cătălin Predoiu.
Mutual assistance is a key word not only in the text of the Agreement, but also in the characterization of relations between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and Romania. The fire and rescue departments of our countries will respond more quickly to requests for help and work together to prevent the occurrence of emergency situations.
Ukrainian rescuers have invaluable experience of working in extremely difficult conditions. And despite the full-scale war, Ukraine is always ready to lend a friendly hand of help in the field of civil protection of the population.
In our turn, we are interested in the experience of the Romanian population alert system Ro-Alert. Therefore, we have agreed with Minister Predoiu to send specialists of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine to Romania for a more detailed study of this system and conduction of a joint training. We strengthen civil security together.
