President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the Sixth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, dedicated to the theme “World 2026: Finding Stability in Times of Uncertainty.”

The Head of State thanked the Summit participants for their support for Ukraine, productive work, important dialogue, and exchange of experience.

The President is convinced that Ukraine’s resilience is about everyone without exception – adults and children alike, all those who continue every day to defend, save lives, work, study, and teach.

“Ukrainian resilience is not about what the phrase ‘putting up with things’ implies. That is definitely not who we are, because putting up with things is passive. Our resilience is about acting. Even when circumstances are against you. And our resilient state is made up of resilient people like these,” he stressed.

According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine’s experience of resilience is about bringing together the capabilities of each and every person into one great force – the strength of Ukraine. The Head of State is convinced that this principle of unity is needed not only by citizens, but by countries as well. Partners will become stronger and will be able to respond quickly and effectively to global threats posed by war, cyberattacks, energy blackmail, disinformation, and food and climate crises.

“We need an architecture of resilience that is just as systemic as our architecture of collective security. Standards, exchange of experience, backup systems for critical infrastructure, rapid response, and, importantly, building everything necessary to protect life, preserve its normalcy, and safeguard prospects for people and countries – so that we stay one step ahead of the challenges instead of trying to catch up,” the President concluded.
