On the occasion of National Flag Day, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy participated in the ceremonial raising of the Ukrainian flag.

The President emphasized that the blue and yellow flag unites many generations who have fought for Ukraine, liberated Ukrainian land from invaders, and dreamed of independence.

"The historical path of Ukraine and the spirit of our national colors have taught us that what is Ukrainian rises, that Ukraine strengthens and achieves its goals only when our people are truly together. In unity – for the blue and yellow flag and for Ukraine," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The President thanked everyone who fights and works for our country.

"We are pushing the occupier out of Ukraine and will give no rest to their tricolors. And we must rebuild Ukraine, our home, after this war so that our Ukrainian blue and yellow flies as it deserves – over proud land and amidst safe, free, and European life," the President concluded.

The event was also attended by Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, and military personnel.
