President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

The discussion focused on the annual report within the 2025 Enlargement Package, which will be published tomorrow. The leaders discussed Ukraine’s progress on the path toward membership in the European Union. There is every reason to expect a positive outcome for our country.

Particular attention was paid to energy support for Ukraine. The President of the European Commission spoke about coordination with various institutions and countries, as well as the funds that will be directed to assist Ukraine’s energy sector. The contributions may be very significant, and work will continue to increase them.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ursula von der Leyen agreed that the teams will begin working on the implementation of all the agreements this week and coordinated their next joint contacts and steps.
