1. The IV International Forum ‘The Occupied Peninsula: Four Years of Resistance” (February 26th, Kyiv).
On the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the Day of Crimea’s Resistance to Russian Occupation, the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine organized in Kyiv the Fourth International Forum ‘The Occupied Peninsula: Four Years of Resistance’. The Forum was attended by 200 participants and 30 speakers.
Among the speakers were Rebecca HARMS, co-president of The Greens–European Free Alliance group in the European Parliament, Ukraine’s MPs, members of the Government, the Mejlis, the public, etc.
The Forum stipulated three panel discussions:
Within the framework of the Forum, the documentary The Kremlin’s Prisoners was presented.
2. Actual situation in the ATO area.
The Russia-backed militants made 53 precision attacks upon the Ukrainian troops’ positions. Ukrainian troops returned fire 26 times using weapons not proscribed under the Minsk agreements.
The situation was the most anxious near Katerynivka, Krymske, Luhanske, Troitske, Pidlisne, Lobacheve, Stanytsia Luhanska, Nololuhanske, Zaitseve, Novooleksandrivka, Svitlodarsk, Novotroitske, Pisky, Vodiane and Kamianka.
Unfortunately, 2 Ukrainian servicemen were killed and 6 were wounded.
